Courtyard Hotel Niagara Falls

The Niagara Falls, Ontario, Courtyard by Marriott is a convenient place to stay on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. The high-rise hotel is located near the Clifton Hill amusement area of Niagara Falls. It’s not as close to the Falls as hotel advertising would have you believe. It’s a good six block walk along Victoria Avenue and then through Clifton Hill downhill to the foot of Clifton Hill and River Road just to begin viewing the Falls. But, it’s a nice walk and good exercise. (It’s all uphill, of course, on the way back.) The IMAX Falls Movie is nearby.

Rooms are very comfortable and spacious and provided with a complimentary coffee/tea maker. A very large parking lot offers plenty of space for vehicles. Amenities include an indoor and an outdoor pool and a fitness center. A gift shop with convenience items is in the lobby. The Courtyard Café for breakfast and Keg Steakhouse are in-hotel dining options. But, many local restaurants and a 7/11 store are nearby.

The hotel did not have wireless Internet when we stayed there nor did it offer complimentary computer access. There were pay-as-you-go Internet stations in the lobby. The onsite ATM never did accept my US ATM card.
