Courtyard Hotel Bettendorf

Before I get started, this rating needs to be explained. In 2004-2005 I spent nearly 100 nights at this hotel alone working on a project in the Quad Cities area. As an example I could leave my luggage at the hotel when I went home for a week or weekend. The next time on site I would arrive with my luggage waiting for me in my room, laundry all freshly done and ready for the week. So this property gets an extra star for exceptional service like this that I received during my many stays at this location.

With that caveat out of the way, this is still a very good Courtyard property that caters to business travellers in the Quad Cities area. Standard amenities were a swimming pool, free internet access, fitness room (or at the time a pass to Gold's Gym up the street), complementary newspaper, and full breakfast (not free though). Hotel was within a short drive of many dining options in the area, a movie theater, and a golf course.

Clean, comfortable rooms (if you've seen one room at a Courtyard in the US, you've seen them all though). The staff was wonderful and helpful with all my needs throughout my many stays.

With no full scale properties in the area, the Courtyard is one of the higher-end properties of the major hotel chains in the area and an excellent location to stay.
