Couples negril is a nice hotel to stay at we decided to stay at this resort as we thought it would be alot quieter than the family resorts and also the staff wouldnt hassle us as much as last year.

Well from the very moment we arrived at this resort we were treated great.
We arrived to champagne and hot refresher towels and after a long flight this was much appreciated, check in was easy we just filled in a simple form and then they stuck a label on our suitcases and we were shown to our room by one of the staff and told our cases would be brought to our rooms in a bit.
The lobby was nice, well lit with elegant looking chandelier lights and nice little red sofas everywhere.
our cases were delivered to our rooms about 15 minutes later.
the room was nice with a relaxing view of the gardens and pond out back, it even had an ipod station so you could listen to your own music, lots of plugs for appliances, it had a hair dryer and lighted make up mirror in the bathroom.
TV had good chanels and movies on from time to time and the beds were suprisingly comfy :).
food - there were a few restaurants here helicona, lychee and otaheite oh and the buffet,
our favourite was lychee which is an asian restaurant with an open kitchen bit, the food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
The buffet was ok and had good theme nights but the breakfast was a bit repetative and we couldn't find beans to go with our toast and eggs, being English we found this very strange lol.
the pool - the pool was awesome as it has a swim up bar and its an infinity pool and two whirlpools at either end of the pool but they were far too hot to get in to in the heat of the day. Lots of sunloungers out and the best part is that there are lots of red flags around the pool and beach and if you want another drink you just stick your red flag in the sand next to your chair or on the table and they will come over and take your order, again pool and bar staff were lovely.
Also tipping is prohibited at this resort it is apparently included in the price you pay to stay here and the staff wont accept tips otherwise I think they would get in to trouble from the manager.
The whole resort is tranquil and relaxed and there are even hammocks and swinging chairs for couples to sit and enjoy the sunset.
Now for entertainment they have a disco a few nights a week also a piano bar where a pianist comes once a week and takes requests and everyone sings along its great :) everynight they have some sort of show or entertainment at the buffet bar too, Theres also a quiz night. during the day the entertainment staff do games and dancing lessons and volleyball, theres also a weekly shopping outing for free where they will take you on a bus into the town for souvenier shopping. The front of the hotel had a great little pond which was full of lots of cute fish that came right up to the surface to se you when you went over we bought them out a tiny bit of food from the buffet one day lol shhh.
There are lots of watersports to take part in including a free glass bottom boat ride.
also free internet access in the internet room.
a nice game room with free pool table, books to borrow, tv with popcorn and some other games. The gym was never crowded and they also have some classes you can join in.
very helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel who remembered our names and our fave drinks.
overall this hotel was quite fantastic and brings a new meaning to the word ALL -inclusive as it really was. We loved it.
