Countryside Steakhouse and Cafe Imus Reviews
One of Southern Tagalog's Growing Steakhouse and Cafe Sep 19, 2010
We ordered the ff for lunch:
Pancit Bihon - 55
Pork Sizzling (served w/ rice, some veggies and gravy) - 90
Fried Chicken (served w/ rice and fried potato) - 85
Chicken Sizzling (served w/ rice, some veggies and gravy) - 90
The gravy was pale, I thought it was a white sauce and it wasn't as tasty as it should be. I would prefer a catsup for the chicken than their very own gravy.
Chicken was a little bigger than I thought. I was a little disappointed w/ the Chicken Sizzling because it was covered with breadings. I was expecting something that is grilled with some BBQ sauce in it.
Rice was actually "sinangag" (fried rice), I was expecting a plain rice but anyway, the rice was tasty. I ate it again later on for dinner. We were not able to finish our food as we were all full, so we asked the waiter to pack it up so we can take it home.
Pancit Bihon is okay, typical one.
For those who are from the town of Imus or traveling around the area or if you are looking for a restaurant near Imus Cathedral and would like to have a heavy meal, Countryside Steakhouse isn't a bad option. They serve quick, freshly cooked food.
