Country Inn & Suites Manchester (Tennessee)

The Country Inn and Suites is a little pricier hotel chain, but when you have an extended (business) stay, they are worth the extra cost. This hotel is in Manchester, Tennessee, about 1 hour south of Nashville and 1 hour north of Chattanooga. The hotel is near Arnold Air Force Base.

My room was a two bedroom King Suite. The first room had a couch and tv, desk, refrigerator, microwave and counter with cabinets. The bedroom had a king bed, dresser, tv, and closet. Plenty of room to spread out and store all my work equipment. The hotel also has the standard double queen rooms.

The hotel had free, wireless internet and a hot breakfast with different foods every morning. These included waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs as well as your typical cold cereals, muffins and toast. The hotel also had a fire place in the lobby with a "library" where you can borrow books during your stay and a small meeting room.

A few restaurants are located nearby, including a Waffle House, Wendy's and O'Charleys. This hotel is located right off the interstate making it a convenient stop for someone passing through but also means it has traffic noise on the back side (where my room was). The pool is an outdoor one and was not open during my stay (in January).
