Country Hostel Nashville

Country Hostel Nashville is located on a quiet country lane in Brentwood, an affluent suburb of Nashville. The hostel is owned by a really nice man called Cal, who is originally from California and he runs the hostel with his wife Keena. Located about a ten minute drive from downtown, Cal can pick you up from the airport for $20, a taxi would cost about $40 he said so its definetely worth taking advantage of this. There is two dorms, a girls dorm with 4 beds and a boys with 6 beds. I paid $23 a night and they charge $2 a day for internet access on their laptops which is also worth doing. They have WiFi which reaches out onto the really nice outside deck area which is also a great place to sit and relax in the afternoons or evenings. There are 2 free bikes so if you want to go riding they are there to use. They host a weekly barbecue to give travellers a chance to experience an American BBQ. I really enjoyed staying here, fellow travellers were very friendly, a lot of people that stay there commute to work in Nashville as they are looking for an apartment or job. The place is quiet and relaxing and the price is very reasonable compared to paying a couple of hundred dollars for a couple of nights for a hotel downtown just as long as you dont mind sharing a bathroom and a room with other people.
