The VERY best Gluten Free Italian Food Aug 10, 2008
We found information about Cotto online before our trip to London, as I have Coeliac Disease so eating out can be difficult. Only a ten minute taxi ride from our hotel near Covent Garden. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The owner has been coeliac for 20 years. Straight away I was offered homemade gluten free bread - the best I've had in the 4 years I've been diagnosed - and freshly made GF lasagne - a rare treat! It was all delicious and the icing on the cake was being offered GF Tiramasu which was to die for! A VERY welcome change from the usual fresh fruit salad!! This restaurant is a MUST for anyone eating gluten free and visiting London. We'll certainly be going back. Thanks!
