This place is cool.  It has a bar/restaurant with reasonable food and nightly films (although we were unlucky enough to see Spiderman 2 twice two weeks apart). It also has a pool and free Internet, free coffee and lots of places to chill.

Watch out for the cats. I had one munching on a dead rat under my hammock.  The rooms next to the pool can be a bit noisy as Americans shout that "it ain´t pronouced Jaco, but yer say Haco" into the wee hours.  God bless America.

We decided to head up to where the hostel (Costa Rica Backpackers) I was going to be staying in was situated, to have a look and scope it out, we found it easily, but saw the security and thought it wasn't worth trying to get in. So we headed back to the hotel… Do you know the way to San Jose

, an hour late, at the Costa Rica Backpackers Hostel. The check-in clerk said the gang had left, but would be back later. Sure enough, it wasn’t long before Derek & Adrian came and picked me up.   We went a few blocks to a neighborhood restaurant/bar. There, I met Kelly… This is My Kind of Shopping

Arriving in San Jose, I found a taxi and set off back across the city to Costa Rica Backpackers. Sure the taxi driver had over charged me, 4000 colones, but glad to finally be able to relax again I checked into the hostel and set about exploring the hostel which I'd read was a maze. Indeed it was fairly big, but it was great… CRASH!!!!
