Costa Mesa is a great place to stay in Southern California if you want to go to the beach (Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Corona del Mar, etc.) or shopping (South Coast Plaza and Metro Point). There are also great restaurants in Costa Mesa...too many to list!

I love Costa Mesa. It's a great starting point to almost everything in SoCal. It's just about 20 mins from Anaheim and Disneyland and not too far from LA either. South Coast Plaza is THE shopping mall to got to. It's awesome!!
Costa Mesa is also close to Huntington Beach where you can stop by Johnny's Saloon. The best bar ever!

I had been talking to Steve for a while about learning what it takes to get up in the air on my own.  Talked about what he likes and how he actually became a pilot.  Everything he spoke of had me intrigued. I received an email with a name of a FAA certified flight school and an encouragement to call if I were really interested.  I was then speaking with Nicky a little and he told me to go for it. A little while later.  I did call to find out more information and make an ...

This is where I stayed. I simply love this place. It's not only beautiful, but also so convinient. It's a real huge appartment complex. I stayed in apartmentbuilding A. And I think they go to E or F, with 3 stores in each building. Not quite sure how many appartments in each, but guess it's not important either...lol  Each building has a  laundryroom. At the premises you have a gym, a pool and a tenniscourt that are for the residents, and of course their guests.  For me, ...

Wow.. what can I say about South Coast Plaza? It's HUGE, it's beautiful for a mall and it's high end. You find a vide range of stores here, but the most of them are high end designer stores. Such as; Versace, Dolce&Gabbana, Channel, Tiffanys and Armani. But you also find H&M, Sears, Macys and American Eagle. In addition you also find a vide range of diners and coffe shops. Fancy restaurant to Starbucks.. yeah, of course you find a Starbuck.. lol I did most of my shopping at Macys and...

The Willson’s Wet Weekend Adventure It's Memorial Day weekend. That means it is time for the United Scottish Society's annual Highland Games festival. This year the games have been a much awaited event in our household. Back in the day when I was still married, my ex's family went to this festival every year. The event was held at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. Now what many people dont realize, there is a campground at the fairgrounds. We are talking full hook ups for...
