such a great hotel in a fantastic location Mar 26, 2008
This little hotel fills up fast on the weekends so book early! The street is at the base of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, as well as the Yerebatan Cistern and Topkapi Palace. In fact, you can take the light rail from the airport right to it.
The hotel is clean, safe and very well-kept. The staff is really nice as well. You get real Turkish coffee with your coffeemaker in your room (I was really into that!) Breakfast (hard boiled eggs, cereal, soft cheeses and tomatoes, etc) is included and served every day between 8a and 10:30a on the fourth floor, with a view of the Bosphorous and the Blue Mosque. The hotel cost about $300 total, including taxes for 3 nights. and, as a nice welcoming touch, each room gets 3 free postcards of Istanbul. |
