Corvette Diner Reviews

Corvette Diner, cool to the max! Apr 18, 2008
Ana's son told us he loves this place and strongly suggested that Ana take me here, she'd never been so she was happy to try it aswell. Corvette Diner aims to provide 'comfort food for complex times'. Rock and Roll fills the airwaves and blasts out from the speakers, its a really fun place. The food is hot, very tasty and the waitresses are dressed up in 50's poodle skirts and have big bouffant hairdos to match, they are also very friendly and entertaining. 50's memorabilia adorns the walls and is very colourful. Me and Ana shared some cheesy fries yum for an appetizer. Then we both had a 'Dee Dee' a very big American cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, mayo and pickle and it was very tasty! I had a coke float to drink, it was honestly the biggest drink iv ever seen, it was in like a knickerbocker glass with about 4 scoops of a very creamy vanilla ice cream and it was more of a dessert than a drink but that was also very nice!! After all the food we could hardly move we were so full up, the bill was very reasonable and we left a nice tip. The waitress thanked us and then dropped lots of free bubble gum on the table which was pretty cool. If you're in San Diego you should eat at Corvette's, its located in the Hillcrest area and really is the coolest little place especially if you're a fan of older music its so much fun!
