Good Food, Good Service, Good Price Oct 16, 2008
This small town Mexican restaurant has been in the same place for more than forty years. It has had some interior upgrades and exterior face-lifts but the food has stayed the same year after year, very good. Mom and Dad still run the business and cook and each of their three sons have tried opening restaurants in nearby communities. This is truly a local meeting place and chances are you will find friends talking from one table across the room to another family. Some nights it’s hard to find a parking place anywhere nearby, but they really don’t like people to have to wait so they do their best to set up more tables without rushing guests out. We do enjoy going here.

At first or even second look you would not think too much of this small town Mexican restaurant. That is until you try to find a parking spot anywhere near it. They only have room for about six cars faced-in in front but no other parking, so you just find a place along the street. The place is bigger than it first appears and so you may be put into the overflow room that is frequently used by the town’s civic clubs. They don't like you to wait, so they will do whatever they can to set up more tables, or whatever, without pushing guests to leave. This is a family owned restaurant and has been there for at least 40 years. The father and mother continue to run the daily operation and cooking. The food is tasty without being overly spiced. You can always tell the waitress if you prefer mild or spicy and she will have your food cooked just the way you like it. This is really a locals place and so you are apt to meet friends or family eating there. The noise level reflects the chitchat and fun people have eating there. The prices are low and the service is usually quick and nice. I would not say it’s a diner, but there is nothing fancy either. Just a good ol' local Mexican Restaurant with good food.

From my opinion I think that they have really good refried beans.
