I am a frequent visitor to NYC and love to find restaurants that I'd be excited to revisit. The Cornerstone Cafe is definitely high on that list. The cafe is located in the East Village.

It was an absolutely perfect Spring day in Manhattan and I met my friend here for brunch. I was expecting a line as it was Saturday morning but we were seated right away. We got one of the few tables on the street. One of my favorite past times is people watching and this was the perfect table for watching folks.

I ordered the Egg Benedict and it was divine. The side potatoes were very yummy. The only downside is that they do not take credit cards. Be prepared and bring cash but it is worth it!

The Cornerstone Cafe is very reasonable. I paid $10 for my benedict. Ten dollars! Every time I visit NYC I always gasp when looking over my bank statement upon return. So here is a great place to eat that won't break the bank.

Something every discerning traveler needs.
