Delicious, authentic and affordable Greek restaurant near Temple Bar Mar 11, 2013
Corfu is one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. I stumbled upon it by chance some time ago, decided to pop in seduced by the promise of a 3 course meal for only 15 EUR - and since then I've been sending friends and colleagues their way.

Corfu's Greek salad (starters) tasted fresh and had quite an adequate amount of feta and black olives on top of it. Deliciously salty. I chose chicken souvlaki with potato wedges and (a very garlicky) tzatsiki for main course, and loved every last bit of it. For dessert I adventurously picked something called galaktoboureko with no idea what I was about to get. Must say I was well pleased with my good sized piece of Greek custard pie bathed in honey. It pays off to venture in places and be adventurous, don't you reckon?
