Copan Ruinas Vacation Guide
Copan Ruinas is situated up in the western hills of Honduras near the Guatemalan border. The town is situated near the Mayan ruins of Copan.
The town has a good selection of Hotels in all price ranges. There are also lots of restaurants to choose from.
Activities around town include visiting the Mayan Ruins of Copan, visiting the wildlife park just outside town, going horseback riding or visiting coffee plantations.
There is good access to town by bus from either the Guatemalan side or from San Pedro Sula.

We got to Copan Ruinas around 10 or 11 am. We were tired and hot, we headed straight to La Posada de Belssy. $16 for a double you get a nice, clean place, private bath/hot water no AC, though.
