Coolangatta is located in south east Queensland right near the QLD and NSW border. In fact it is the most southerly town in QLD. Which makes it a perfect gateway to head to the imfamous Gold Coast or Tweed Heads.
With a populations of roughly 5000 it is a quiant coastal town, with a huge surfing culture. It has some of the best fish and chips also.

A last minute decision to join my friend on a trip to visit her sister in Coolangatta, Queensland ended up being a great idea! She was working (hairdresser) on the Saturday, so I hopped on a train and met her at her salon for a quick haircut, and then we hopped back on a train to the airport.

Queensland - The Sunshine State of Australia is a beautiful place with beaches lining most of the coastline. We stayed at Coolangatta just on the New South Wales / Queensland border.

Eastern Australia - with so many great places to visit. I visited Brisbane and the surrounding region, Cairns, and Sydney over five weeks. My first overseas trip. If every trip I take is this good, then watch out world because I'm coming.
