Cooktown Alamanda Inn Reviews
Alamanda Aug 09, 2008
We had this Inn recommended to us buy the Caravan park and I am happy to recommend it to others. we stayed in the cheaper rooms without a kitchen or en-suite, though we did have our own shower, but we had a comfortable room close to all facilities. The kitchen was well equiped with everything nesicary.
What we liked was the big shady covered area with tables and chairs set out for meals. We and all other guests ate our meals in this area with small yellow birds darting among the pretty flowers and ferns growing in profusion all around us.
There was a good size pool available to us near where the new motel block was.
The owners have the cutest freindliest little dog that came to visit when he was not busy welcoming new guests.
A little far away from the waterfront, but that didn't matter as we had our own car, but there was a supermarket very close by and the Caltex garage.
