Back in Wales recently visiting my old university town & friends. Aside from Bangor, Conwy, Betws-y-Coed, Llanberis & Snowdonia were also visited. Despite the typical Welsh summer(ie. wet)I made a hike up Mount Snowdon via Pyg Track & down via Miners'Path.

I know of no reason
Why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.

Final Trip of year 13 around England and Wales.
Great trip with Ferry from Rotterdam to Hull, with a stay at the adelphy a gig at the cavern and lifemusic at a great Irish pub.
We also did the Ferry across the Mursey and after it we visited Chester and Conwy Castle on the way to Llanberris in the Snowdonia National Parc. We climed Mount Snowdan and on our way back to Hull we visited York and saw one of the best art exibitions I ever saw: the memory of place in St. Mary's Abbey.

This was just a brief afternoon walk with friends on a hill in Conwy on a greyish and a somewhat misty day. The hillslopes were covered with the most stunning carpet of lilac common heather (Calluna vulgaris), deep purple bell heather (Erica cinerea) and dwarf form of gorse (Ulex europaeus) - the s…
