When I traveled to Beijing in 2001, Robert (a.k.a. "Spechina" on Travel Buddy) was our tour guide that we had hired through a family friend.  Needless to say, we had fantastic tours of everything!  He was able to arrange everything ahead of time for us and coordinate all of our transportation.  Robert has become a great friend over the years and it was nice to run into him again on this website.  If you're going to Beijing in the future, contact him by clicking on his picture under the "My Friends" section of my profile.   Looking forward to going back to Beijing in 2007 or even 2008 for the Olympics and I plan on having Robert as our guide again.  Thanks Robert!!

He must have deleted his profile and then rejoined under the same name, because the 'spechina' that's now listed has a join date of May 11, 2008 - and the previous profile had been on as long as mine. Who knows. I'll e-mail him. And if he's not around anymore, I'll delete the review. Thanks! :-)
