Conrad Hotel Indianapolis

The Conrad hotel is centrally located, with very expensive valet parking ($32 per night!), but the staff was super friendly, and service at the restaurant Capitol Grille was very good too. The front desk got us the reservation at the in-hotel restaurant Capitol Grille, and gave us a coupon for free appetizer.

You have to use your room key to activate the elevator, for added security. The room we had was very nice, with spacious bathroom having his and her sinks, a TV (in the bathroom), separate shower and tub.

The bed was very comfortable, and with the sofa and several chairs there is plenty of place to set your things on and sit around too. In room internet cost extra so we did not get any, and $5 bottle water was in an interesting square bottle, but I imagine the water tasted the same as cheaper bottles elsewhere. The HD TV in the room was nice and big, probably 42" or more.

So in general, the facility was very nice, staff was great, but it's not cheap. And I rated amenities less than excellent because you had to pay extra for them.

Actually, if the rooms were a little larger, and everything wasn't nickle and dimed, this would be a world-class property.
