Confortel Suites Hotel Madrid Travel Reviews

Aug 21, 2007
On our way to Madrid I went in to hotels.com to se if they had any offers on Madrid since we wanted to stay there. Usually you can find good offers in the big cities in August due a lack of business people in the city centre. We were very lucky I must say.

We got a fantastic offer and went straight for it. I had no knowledge of the hotel before we checked in. We got a two room suites of very high quality. It was the best hotel room I have had in a very long time. The room was tasty - as tasty as a hotelroom can be. We had free minibar and everything worked as it should do.

The staff in the reception was extremely friendly and service minded. The hotel was situated a bit outside of the city center but still in the heart of Madrid, close to all of the major attractions, with excellent transport links for exploring the whole city - it costed only 10€ with a taxi to Plaza Mayor. There is also a Metro station directly in front of the hotel which gives access to the city and the surrounding area

All hotel rooms are spacious junior suites. Each suite has separate bedroom and an ample living room. The accommodation includes a host of modern comforts and conveniences, including wireless internet access and a complimentary minibar.

dfoo says: Really good hostel. The one night I stayed there whilst I was in transit was a lot better than the other hostel I stayed in Madrid. Location: Close to plenty of bars and running distance from the train station when you accidently sleep in. Security: Pretty good. No broken door locks, and pre...
