Spent yesterday in Coney Island...riding the Wonder Wheel, Thunderbolt and Cyclone with my friends Sue and Tim! It was a lot of fun since it was my first time to ride the Cyclone roller coaster. Of course, we enjoyed Nathan's hot dogs also! Saw a lot of characters on the boardwalk.

My actual destination in New York was Coney Island, where the amusement park industry began, and home to the Cyclone. I had to pay to leave the city. It was sunset by the time I got there.
Coney Island has seen much better days, and is now a pretty seedy area of New York. I wasn't sad to hear that…
