Condotel Las Cascadas

If you want to enjoy Quepos but are looking for a secluded, safe hideaway, then this is the hotel for you! Condotel Las Cascadas is a family owned and operated hotel just a 10 minute walk from the downtown region. They offer a variety of accomodations to suit anyone's needs. I received an apartment-style room complete with a kitchen and spacious bed and bathroom, for $75/night. It was more than enough for just me and came with AC and a nice outdoor seating area. The rooms were clean and the decor very homey. The Rogers family was very helpful in recommmending several restaurants, tours, and points of interest. As a solo traveler I like that the hotel is just outside of the city center. Las Cascadas is gated and has camera security, so I didn't have to worry about being alone. The property is lovely and full of wildlife, and the pool area was quite nice. I didn't see another place near Quepos that seemed to offer the security and comfort of Las Cascadas. I would definitely stay with the family again in the future.
