Comwell Hotel Rosiklde

In general I'd recommend avoiding this hotel if you're heading to the area for tourism. It's most likely good for business seminars, trainings, etc. It is located about 5 kms from the center of Roskilde. The installations look good - it seems to be a relatively recently built hotel. In fact, some work is still going on there.
They have some serious problems with leaky windows and roof. We awoke on the first morning of our stay there with everything we owned that was close to the exterior wall or on the desk below the window soaked. The reception staff was not helpful at all when we came out at 6 a.m. and asked for help with our soaked belongings. Basically the lady in reception didn't care at all. It took way too much conversation just to get changed to a different room. Our travel documents, and many belongings including my cell phone were damaged by the water and the hotel assumed no responsibility whatsoever. Finally we did get changed to a different room (also with a leaky window!)
On the positive side - the room was bright, the breakfast was very good (although the staff wasn't friendly at all) and some of the views from the hotel are beautiful... that's about it.
On the negative side - unfriendly staff, serious leaks!, and a very inconvenient location if you don't come with a car. Again, it might be fine for business, but definitely is not recommendable for anything else.
