Comfort Suites Huntington Beach

This is a great place to stay for the budget minded. It is two miles from the beach. And, if you do not have a car, the bus to the beach stops right at this corner.
This motel consists of 1 room studio apartments and one bedroom suites, all with a full kitchen. There is a 24 hour Walgreens across the street as well as a 24 hours Carl's JR restaurant (well, the drive through is open 24 hours). IHOP is within walking distance as is Albertson's Grocery Store.
All of the suites do have a full kitchen. Unfortunately, the kitchen does not have pots/pans/dishes, etc. But this can be had for cheap at Walgreens.
There is a nice pool and a BBQ area outside. The motel also has a laundry facility.
Rent for the one bedroom apartments is about $100/ day but can be had for $500/ week. There is a full size pull-out couch in the living room plus a queen size bed in the bedroom.
This is a ideal place for those families looking for a cheaper vacation within good distance of the beach. The manager's office is on grounds and they run a tight ship. The rooms are clean and quiet.
