It´s possible to find a cheap and good Hotel in New York City! Feb 28, 2008
In Ferbruary 2008 I stayed in the "Comfort Inn" Hotel. It´s in Long Island City, Queens, NYC. It´s very close to Manhattan, the Subway "Queensboro Plaza" is just 100 meters away and you need 10 Minutes to the Time Square.
The Rooms are very clean, you`ve got a TV with 16 free Programms and also Pay TV is available. The Bathroom is very new and all what you need is inside. There is a free breakfast, WLAN, a Safe, a business room with PC & Printer and a Fitness room. The cheapest way to get this hotel is "Priceline.com". You have to choose the Long Island City Area and 2,5 Stars. We paid just 75$ / 56€ per Night for a double bed, Tax and Fee included!
