Comfort Inn Williamsport Reviews

Checked out right away Nov 08, 2012
I originally booked this hotel because it was cheaper than the Holiday Inn next door. Check in was fast and the guy was friendly enough but I just didn't like the feel of the hotel. It felt more like a motel like the previous reviewer says. I must admit I am a little picky and as soon as I smelt the smoke (even though its a non smoking hotel) and saw my room and tiny bathroom I had to leave. The room was an adequate size but the bathroom was tiny and I was going to be staying there for 12 nights, I needed a place where I felt comfortable and safe.

I immediately went next door and was able to get a cheaper rate than the Comfort Inn, I went back to the Comfort Inn and explained myself and the young guy happily refunded my money and that was that.

not bad, but not good either! May 01, 2009
This really is more a motel than hotel. If you are travelling and tired,, you can spend your night here. But not more than one night. If you are on your holliday, you should not stay in this hotel. It is located near the main road, and lucky (or not) mc donalds is close. So they are pleased with the visitors. But it is located too far from Williamsport. The reception area is nice, the staff is very nice and helpfull also. In our first room the airco did not work (can not open a window) so it was too warm and out of fresh air. We immediatly got a new room. The room is not bad, but a bit worn out furniture. But in this room you have everything you need. this hotel is mostly visited by people playing competition in Williamsport. This town is famous for their basketball. In the morning in the big room you could collect your food. It was not bad, but it seems to be normal that they use only plastic plates and knives and spoons. Not really recommended for a holliday. Just for passing by and not willing to visit Williamsport.
