Nothing special at all for the money. Self serviced and lacking some basic self service functions. Balcony area on lower levels is too open plan which gives rise to people constantly wandering past your apartment windows. Car park is poorly designed and will cause damage to most standard family automobiles, the drop from the kerb is too high and long and you can constantly hear the scraping of car bumpers from the pool side area! Not what you go on holiday for, if it's your own car it's bad enough but if you're planning on damaging a rental car it's going to coat you a lot more than a few days by the beach for a short break! Thought the hotel was a little pricey in comparison. For example - you can stay at the Southern Cross Hotel in Sunny Brisbane near The Gabba in a fully serviced self contained apartment cheaper - it just doesn't compare. It's further from the beach than you'd like to think too and you need a car to really get anywhere as it's too far out from mainstream Cairns. Once bitten - twice shy, there's too many competitors out there in this area of Cairns to want to stay and have the car damaged again.......
