After two months away from home, we needed a holiday! What better way than to spend two weeks in Goa, the first with Zoe's mum and sister, who were over on their own two week holiday? It didn't take too long to get here to Colva from Panaji.  We changed at Margao (where the fourth one-day cricket match was played) bus station, but when I say bus station it was more like a huge field of dust dotted with buses...  Our bus was the party bus - purple and yellow with a disco ball, sound system and flashing disco lights!!By the time we arrived at Colva beach it was about midday.  We always manage to fix it so we're carrying our heavy packs in the midday sun, but t...

Indian all inclusive

We checked in for four days to an all inclusive to try to re-charge but alas india has won.  The service at this place is unbelievable (bad that is).  You have to yell at three staff in order to get a cup of coffee! There is this bizarre hierarchy in india.  I blame the british imposing all of the bureaucracy.  It takes forever for anything to happen and if it is not in their job description, they will not do it under any circumstance.  I.e. the water boy will not bri...
