Great Spanish food and value at Columbia Restaurant Apr 30, 2011
For a change of taste we looked up Spanish restaurants while in Orlando (Celebration is a suburb of Orlando, if you have a car, it's less than 10 miles from the Epcot center, and about 13 miles from Disney world) The Columbia Restaurant, a family restaurant for 5 generations, is one of 7 in Florida, the oldest one in Ybor City, Tampa was established in 1905 so it has a great history. This one in Celebration is newer but has very good ambience and decor with portraits of the family owners and a LOT of patrons, so make a reservation first! They have a small gift shop where you can buy a big book on this restaurant's cookbook, and many foods from Spain, so we looked through them while waiting to be seated.

Once seated, we ordered some Mojito (the BEST ever, wow!) and the bread is hot and crusty on the outside. Seafood and soup, hand tossed salad, main dishes of more fish and lamb. And to finish it off, the best dessert, a flan like you have never had before, and a to die for White chocolate bread pudding. We couldn't finish, but took them back to the hotel and had them for breakfast (microwaved to heat them), and the bread pudding made great breakfast too. All in all, GREAT food, not touristy prices, the dessert was under $6, look at the size of it in the photo! and so tasty. I highly recommend everyone go eat here if you are near Orlando! or Tampa or Sarasota or St Augustine or St Petersburg or Clearwater Beach where their other locations are!
