Chiles Volcano, along the Colombian border

First volcano that we climbed was Chiles (4723m), located along the border with Colombia. It was our first night at an elevation of 4000m. Unfortunately the weather was not good and we did not see a thing at the summit!

I have always wanted to see Angel Falls. Finally I got around to it the during my 2nd trip to Venezuela and Colombia. I have also visited the Gran Sabana, Ciudad Bolivar, Cartagena and Tovar during this trip. Table top mountains, tropical city scene, beautiful beaches and Spanish forts, and even a German colony in the hills, this trip had it all
