Medellin is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to in Colombia. Actually it's the only city I've been to in Colombia. You can easily distinguish the culture and the way people are in Colombia from the people here in the US. Tourist attractions include, La Plaza Botero, Metro Cable, Penol, "El Hueco" not really a tourist attraction but you can certainly get cheap stuff. The rich culture of Medellin is also in music which is mostly Cumbia, Vallenato and Champeta which is popular.

Near to Ipiales is a spectacular gorge and this church is built upon a …

This was one of my favorite sites when i was in Colombia. This is an underground cathedral that is made out of salt. Inside the cathedral you will find sculptures of the stations of the cross. It is dark with pretty shades of purple and royal blues lighting the way through it.

This is a breath taking scenery; the climate is constant, between 20 and 27 Celsius. The architecture is typical of that region; it brings together a lot of Hispanic elements and mixes them with some traditional indigenous shapes and materials. Because of the background of its people and the difficulties of its geography this region has remain untouched, the main activity has been coffee, and now tourism is flourishing.
