Koln

Cologne was definitely a nice city to visit. The city center is compact enough to walk around. The Dom Cathedral is quite impressive (if not macabre) and offers good photos from all different sides of it. The shopping district, Neumarkt, is lively and full of variety and is worth visiting both in t…

For our honeymoon my wife Anna, and I went to Thailand, Italy, Germany, Amsterdam, France, UK and Iceland! It was an amazing trip, my first to Europe, between October and November 2006. Anna was around 4 months pregnant with our first son, Jake, so she wasn't able to drink so our dream of drinking red wine in Paris through the night had to be postponed for another trip. Iceland had always been a dream destination for me for as long back as I can remember and I finally made it there!

We hebben vandaag weer een lange reisdag gehad. Na wat vergeefse pogingen om een hotel te vinden reden we maar door naar Keulen. In zo'n grote stad moet het toch altijd wel lukken en dat lukte ook.
