A few years ago, I drove from Sydney to Brisbane and along the way passed a sign to a butterfly farm. It was time for lunch so I decided to detour and take some time to meet a flutterby or two. I learnt quite a bit about the life of a Butterfly (the very short life). The butterfly enclos…

Coffs Harbour, Australia -› LAX, USA -› …
Tittle pretty much sums it up, as popping across the international date line made the 21st of Nov 2008 the longest day ever. After my family goodbyes in coffs harbour the day basically involved lots of sitting around airports. A 2hr delay after we had boarded the …

A real vacation has to include lying on a beach and reading a good book – so we did! The beach was a bit windy so we came back to the hotel swimming pool for a good hour. We had lunch at the wonderful Nautilus resort right at the beach in Coffs Harbour. It was the absolute best Cesar salad I have…

Coff's Harbor is a pretty pointless stop but it is between Surfer's

After waking up early in the Coffs Harbour YHA I have my vitamine supplies for breakfast: 3 oranges, 4 kiwis and one banana.
