Coffee Shops in the Village New York Reviews

Recently I have been travelling to the West Village to different coffee

shops to do a lot of my teacher work (grade papers and plan lessons) as

well as study for the GMATs. Before finding my go-to coffee shop, I

took the pleasure in exploring different cafes around the village. The

NYC coffee shop scene is similar to other coffee shop scenes (not much

to differentiate from) but, as in the tradition of New York City, there

is a twist. To survive in the city, all successful restaurants need to

add some sort of distinct flavor to their venue to stay alive. Much

like the New York coffee shop scene. I have visited cafes where you

literally feel like you're just chilling in your kitchen; the

down-to-earth feel brings many Manhattannites there to escape the

hectic pace of the streets. Other coffee shops will go towards a

simple, elegant decor, making the experience of drinking a cup of tea

or a mocha a bit more luxorious then it should be. The coffee scene

complements the gogogo attitude of NYC and the city's need for style.
