the view is incredibly relaxing! Jul 07, 2012
My youngest brother was the one who picked this resort for us. Coco’s Beach Resort is situated on a huge property by the beach with beautiful white sand. The resort is only 7 kilometers away from the town proper. I was mesmerized by the hypnotic sound of the big waves. The view was incredibly relaxing!

Coco’s Beach Resort has different types of cottages to choose from. They have small cottages good for 2 people and large cottages for a maximum of 10 people. Some cottages are just few steps away to or from the sea shore and some are situated a bit farther (about 25 meters away) to the beach.

All cottages have their own toilets and bathrooms. Some have a veranda with tables and chairs.

We picked a cottage that has a kitchen. The kitchen is furnished with a double burner stove, a small refrigerator, and a sink made of concrete materials. We maximized the use of a provided barbeque grill just outside the cottage.

The large, spacious and air-conditioned room with four full size beds is for a maximum of 10 people but there were 13 of us so the manager kindly provided us an extra two mattresses but without charge. All these we got for only Pph 5,000.00 (less than US$100.00) and that is cheap, compared to other resorts offer for a cottage of the same size and amenities.

Coco’s Beach Resort is huge so parking is not a problem here. The resort is kept clean all the time. There are plenty of coconut trees surrounding the property. You can even request to pick some coconuts for a small fee.

The beach is not good for swimming though because the sea bed is mostly covered with sea weeds. Nonetheless, we still had a great time soaking on its shallow clear and warm sea water. We also enjoyed the walks along the soft warm sea shore. There are no boats on this shallow water so we had a full view of the breathtaking waves and of the South China Sea.

In a nut shell, this resort is a perfect place to stay if you love a provincial life and a coastal experience.
