Best Mainstream Club in Frankfurt (or even Germany) Jul 31, 2011
Well, actually the music there isnt "mainstream" but in germany the clubscene is mainly into House/Techno Music. House DJ and founder of that club is Sven Väth but lots of Guest-DJ's from all around the world are performing there.

Its not only a club, it also provides two restaurants and multiple lounges that you can visit prior clubbing time!

The design and soundsystem of this club is unbelievable. All the honeycombs everywhere that you can sit in, all the lights - its just awesome. They also have some special combs, that you can book for an outrageous price that are sound isolated where you can adjust the volume of the music, the lights and everything else with a touchpad. Crazy...

Drinks and entrance are not cheap, they have rarely drinks under 5€.

The location is kinda suburban with few parking possibilities, so you should take the tramline or a taxi. Dresscode depends on the event. Sometimes they have special nights such as Big City Beats or Envy My Music. Its very crowded anyway but on those events its crazy. A cool thing is the Fake-Party where many people come in costumes cause then entrance is free.

Its definately the coolest club in frankfurt, check it out!

German Club Experience Jun 04, 2011
Frankfurt is one of the cities many people will fly into or out of but will often pass over as a destination. The Cocoon Club is worth a look if you are only staying here one night in transit or for longer. They have different rooms for House, Rave, Dance, and Hip Hop (called 'black music' in Germany). Each room is rather large and on the weekends is still packed. This is the place to go if you want to mingle with some Germans. There are never too many tourists at this place. Drinks are of average price and so is the cover to get in.

Dress code is dress casual for the most part but you should be able to get in with jeans and a button up. Just dont come here dressed sloppy and you shouldnt have a problem getting in due to it's size.
