Coco Vika Oslo Reviews
Sushi & Asian Cuisine Jul 22, 2011
Coco Vika is a small restaurant located one block from the harbour, near the City Hall and the Nobel Peace Centre. It´s right next door to the Apple store. Coco Vika is elegantly decorated in an Asian style with beige and brown furniture. It also has a nice atmosphere. You can enjoy your meal either in the restaurant, in the more relaxed sofas in the bar or outside if weather permits.
The menu is mainly Chinese, but they also have some Thai dishes as well as sushi. The lunch menu is served from 11:30 am and consists of noddles, rice bowls, salads, sandwiches, soups and sandwiches. All dishes are $20, which is a good price for Norway
We were there the other day, which was summer season, so it was not very busy. Being located in an office district, the restaurant is usually very busy and full of business people during the week.
I have not had dinner at Coco Vika, but the dinner menu is more extensive and also a bit more expensive. Sushi is not served on the lunch menu, it starts at 3 pm. Prices on the sushi are very good for a Norwegian restaurant (spicy tuna maki $14, salmon nigeri $7). Coco Vika also offers take away.
I can recommend Coco Vika, especially for the good lunch prices. The atmosphere is nice and the service very good. Our waitress was the sweetest. She really contributed to our lovely experience.
