Inexpensive Mexican Food. Mar 28, 2015
The heat this summer is indeed relentless. To escape it as much as possible and while waiting for Coco Princess, a yatch owned by Coco Grove Beach Resort in Siquijor Island, I and my friends decided to stay (for at least 30 minutes) at Coco Amigos Restaurant and Bar.

Situated along Rizal Boulevard, Coco Amigos has a nice view of the port of Dumaguete. This seems a popular place among expats. You'll see different races all over the place.

I tried their very affordable Banana Split. It is layered with fresh banana, ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. It was nostalgic and delicious.

The restaurant is very spacious, clean, and has friendly staff. These staff can speak English fluently and with no trace of regional accent.

Tables should be cleaned every after customers. I noticed two customers who kept raising their hands just to get attention from them. Staff should be more attentive to customers.
Banana Split.
