Cocina Arte - Leon - TravBuddy

This is a nice place to eat! The staff here are very nice, the food caters mostly for vegetarians and it is pretty nice too! You can also get a few meat dishes i am sure of, but not much of a choice as there is for meat eaters. You can also get batidos here for around 20 cords, which is a bit more pricey than costa rica. The art itself in here is not that great, but i myself dont know much about art! Still it is a nce place to eat probably one of the best leon has to offer.

Leons only veggie restaurant is a nice little place to sit and relax, the menu is filled with allsorts of veggie dishes, but dont worry if your with someone who is a pure meat eater, as they also do some meat dishes. 

Their Falfafel is just lovely, not to overpowering, and is served in a middle easten flatbread, which is also very nice, it does come with a side of Hummous, but sadly i have never tasted a hummous quite like this one. 

They also do very well on there "soya in a salsa sauce" "spinach and mozzeralla wrap" and if your still hungry at the end, then please try there Carrot cake, very original, served with some lovely creamy icecream. 

A basic dinner or lunch will cost no more than 60-80cords so around 2quid.  The carrot cake cost only 30cords, just under a pound.  While a drink will set you back nothing more than 10cords for a coke, 14cords for a beer, and a special fruit drink 20cords, but they are made fresh at the bar.

We found this place very refreshing, as Leon is not exactly overwhelmed with places to go out and eat, in fact you best love pizza, because thats whats everywhere.  Cocina Arte is just a very nice friendly place to go eat.  Nothing too fancy or bland, just a good mix.  and they are open between 11am - 10pm.

Btw another thing,  the service can be rather slow, for instance we waited a hour to be served a drink then, had to leave before gettin our deserts,  oh and we was charged for it too.. so the place can be very fickle.
