The Cobre Valley Center for the Arts is located in the old Gila County Courthouse which was completed in 1906 using a design by William R. Norton and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The center houses an art gallery and hosts classes for dance, art and other forms of art and other community functions. They have a fairly nice variety of art, like various forms of ethnic art, some modern art and a bit of classic styles. Some nice photographs. Some interesting rotating exhibits too. Strict no photography policy inside. Hours are 10 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Saturday. Closed on Sundays and major holidays. Admission is FREE but a $1 admission fee is "suggested".
