Our next stop in the Yucatan was to the Mayan city of Coba. Here we explored some more amazing, somewhat less restored Mayan ruins. The photo shows the largest pyramid at the Coba site, which we then summited in the 100 degree weather.

Seeing that I live so close to Mexico, it is one of the places I visit quite frequently. I had visited the Yucatán Peninsula area of Mexico in March 2008 and then again in December 2008. This was one of the best road trips ever!
