'Wreck Diving'

Coastal Scuba is probably the best dive company in the Myrtle Beach area. They offer several different types of dives for different depths and skill levels, and plenty of wrecks. The staff and crew are friendly and helpful. I dove on the General Sherman, a Civil War blockade runner that sank 120 years ago. You can keep souvenirs if you find them,so I took a piece of metal wreckage and used it to fan the sand at the bottom, and found a Civil War button this way. The site is also swarming with barracuda, but they don't bother you...they see divers there every day! Well worth checking out if you are a certified diver and will be in the Myrtle Beach area.
