Affordable, clean hotel in an Unsafe Location Jul 10, 2008
It's a clean, well maintained hotel but the location and the staff make it unsafe . . .
We stayed here 1 night before the St Patrick's Day weekend of 2006. We went out to a late dinner and got back to the hotel around 11pm. I went to the jeep around 8am and noticed the small window in the back door on the passenger side was broken into. We parked in the back since it was closer to our room. That may have been a reason why our vehicle was targeted. The cop that took our report said it was not the first time he was called to that hotel. He once chased a guy who had some sort of drugs on him. The cop also mentioned that he believes one of the hotel employees was either a part of it or did the job her/himself. Although there have been many incidents at this property, management has not installed any security cameras. The lighting was not very good in the back. I give it 1 star because I would not recommend this location to anyone. |
