Clube Praiada Oura

We landed in Portugal and decided to take public transportation to the hotel-it took us 2 buses and over an hour and we didn't know where we were going, so we thought we were lost. Eventually we got there...there's the hotel and the apartments, so if this is where you decide to stay, know which one you'll be staying at. One is closer to the beach.

We had a kitchenette and a really nice bathroom. Because the person I went with snores, it was nice that there was a couch-like piece of furniture in the living room and that I didn't have to try to sleep through snoring each night. Both the couch and the bed were AWFUL! It was a narrow wanna-be-mattress on top of a plank of wood. But it was nice to have a fridge and stive to start off with breakfast when a lot of the day trips we singed up for left at 5 and 6 a.m.

The whole town was touristy thought, full of restaurants, continued construction, few locals, and a fair beach. The water was beautiful, but it was a walk just to get to. I'm sure there are nicer places to stay, but this was a good place to stay to relax and eat and have wine. If you want to get away, just sign up for a day trip tp Spain, or Porto, or Lisbon.
