Club Dorado Hotel Marmaris

The hotel is a very nice place for a couples holiday.
The rooms are well equipped and very clean, the info on air conditioning is a little misleading and we had to pay £20 to use it but all in all the rooms were very nice.
The breakfasts, if im honest were not up to much but there is a very nice bar next door that sells breakfast at only 4 TL.
The lunches we were served were very good and in my oppinion there was a wide selection of food to chose from, and as dinner also was, a choice of 2 or 3 hot items plus a huge selection of salads etc and fresh bread which was amazing.
We were a little disapointed to hear that the BBQ nights that are held weekly incured an extra charge of 15 tl to us even though we were all inclusive, so we decided to eat out.
Every night we were there was entertainment which all in all was good, if a little loud, (recomend that if you are going with children you ask for a non pool view balcony as this is where the shows take place and play very very loud music until early hours) this was great for us being a childless couple as we sat out on the balcony most nights with some friends (having bought drink from the local shop!) as we found the drinks to be very weak (tasted watered down) and a disapointing selection from the all inclusive bar, which closed at 22:30, the exact time all the entertainment started.
You have to be quick to get a sun lounger by the pool as we found even at 6 am people were going out and putting towels out and then going back to bed, sometimes not actually using them until lunch time.
The staff were all lovely and helpful and all did their best to help when needed, we were particularly impressed with the maid's bed making ( patterns with the sheets and fresh flowers on the bed, even a towel folded in to a swan and one in to a boat) i know, simple things, simple minds but was a nice touch.
In closing i would recomend the hotel as we thorougly enjoyed our stay, despite the minor problems we encountered.
