Club Amigo Caracol Hotel Camaguey

This was my boyfriend and my first trip outside Canada and I have no complaints but definite suggestions for next time.

*The rooms were clean and spacious and the air conditioner worked amazing!!
*The pool a cute size and was nice and clean but we didn't go all the way to Cuba for a pool so we spent all our time in the ocean. Because Caracol is so close to the coral reef there is a lot of seaweed so I would definitely suggest bringing some type of water shoe if you might be uncomfortable as I was.
*The beach bar had awesome food! Fish, burgers, hot dogs and fries sooo good! But it also shut down around 5pm everyday so make sure you keep track of time because of the gap until dinner is served.
*We found the buffet a little repetitive but we definitely did not go starving there was plenty to choose from in addition to fresh omelets made to choice in the morning and fresh pasta lunch and dinner.
*There were some excursions to choose from but we chose to relax on the resort as opposed to the day activity/excursions. We did however rent a moped to drive around and see the houses and people outside the resort. That was a real eye opener and definitely worth it.

Other than that all I can say is we went there to relax and bask in the sun and we definitely got to do that and for only 1000CD all together. Drinks were good the music was great and the animation staff was awesome. Always there to talk to and bring entertainment to those guests interested.

I would definitely recommend to those who aren't too picky and who are just looking for a quiet affordable get away.
