Love It! Apr 27, 2009
This place is amazing! It has the perfect location, its out of the way of the hussle and bussle of the own centre so its cheaper but its so easy to get to the centre to go sight seeing or whetever. I'm here right now but leaving later on so thought I'd say how a great place it realy is. There are loads of lacal shops for food and drink. You can't bring your own alcoholic drinks into the bar but there is a pub right next door. The price of beer there is 24ck, lass than 1 euro.
The doorm, which sleeps 28 is pretty good, you meet loads of pepole there the only downside is that its all the way up the top of the building, quite a treck, but i'm sure someone will help you if u need it, they helped me get my bag up the stairs. Breakfast isn't free but its only 50ck, all you can eat from 9am 'till 1pm, can't complain with that, especially if you want a lie-in. I would definitely come back here again!!!!! Cool budget hostel in Prague Oct 20, 2008
We have stayed in this hostel a few nights. It’s a cool and easy going place!
The great deal about this hostel is definitely the free breakfast all the morning, with pretty good food. Besides that, it has a music bar (the same place where you have breakfast) and also free internet connection in the reception. Ok, it was hard to get our room with our big bags in the last floor without elevator! But well it was fine since we had a big attic just for us as a reward! It’s not the most central hostel in Prague or the most spic-and-span, but it has a great character and value for the money. Would stay there again! Part of the Central Europe Escape travel blog |

32 man chaos Jun 04, 2008
Dont let the ratings fool you, this wasnt the best place admittedly but i had a good time here so i dont wanna give it a bad review. We stayed in the 32 bed dorm which was manic to say the least.
If you are a lone traveller then i think this is the place to go,great to meet people. The bar underneath is very cool with happy hours aswell and occasional live music. Free internet aswell is always a good bonus too. There are a few cheap restaraunts nearby too.And a free breakfast. Part of the Travels in the former Yugoslavia and Beyond! travel blog |

According to Lonely planet the Clown and Bard hostel should be my kind of hostel. A true party Hostel with a young and open minded crowd. It was a warning that the place might be busy, but this is almost as far off season so i took the chance of just… Prague |

We checked into the Clown and Bard hostel and slept until 10 a.m. Then myself, Andre and Zac, a closeted American homosexual with a fascinating penile fixation we met at the hostel, decided to check out the city. We walked all the way to Charles Bridge. Around… Prague |
