Dolores made us the best breakfast we’ve had in Ireland so far! She was so nice even when we told her we were not staying that night. By the way we also met her mother and her name was also Spanish hahahha. We were supposed to meet Angela and Amanda at 9:30am but they had some trouble with …

What better a way to break the Western-American style driving habits then on a narrow road thru the Irish countryside en route to the Cliffs of Moher. This was by far, #1 on my list of places to see during my stay in Ireland. My was it certainly worth the trip. A couple of hours drive from Ada…

The scenery leading up to the Cliffs of Moher was amazing. The signs leading us there were still giving us grief. At the beginning of the trip I told everyone I sucked at navigating with maps. The truth is I think I just didn’t apply myself. By then end of my trip to Irela…

Dublin, Ireland -› Drogheda, Ireland -› …
We left the desolate Burren behind us and headed south to the famous Cliffs of Moher. Right on the Altantic, the Cliffs offer spectacular views. After debussing (like deplaning), we began our dance toward the cliffs. I say dance for one simple reason: the wind was SO strong …

"I'll seek a four-leaved shamrock in all the fairy dells,
And if I find the charmed laves, or, how I'll weave my spells!
I would not waste my magic might on diamond, pearl, or gold,
For treasure tires the weary sense, such triumph is but cold;
But I would play the enchanter's part, in casting bliss around -
Oh! not a tear, nor aching heart, should in the world be found!"

Another day trip from Galway, little bit longer but worth the drive. Got there and it was very windy. You can start off by looking at the lighthouse, not sure if you had to pay to get in or not but wouldn't be worth it in my opinion. Then you can follow the path around the edge of…

Thankfully, the drive to the cliffs was short. Words can't describe them. All I have to say it was totally worth going, even if the only way we could do it was on a tour. It didn't matter that it was windy, rainy, and the odds were quite high that we were going to get blown off the edge. One of the…
