Claude's Cafe Davao Reviews
Intimate Little Cafe in Davao Mar 10, 2010
Claude's has a counter area, sort of a coffee shop on the side. I chose to eat there, instead of the main dining room. It is near the street so dining alfresco might not be as serene and quiet as you might expect.
The menu has a wide range of prices, some of them higher than other restaurants I've seen in Davao. The menu might have more variety, though, so you won't be dissatisfied. They definitely have a pleasing selection of desserts.
I ordered the Marlin; it comes w/rice or potato. The food was good (veggies were excellent) & portions are about right (it leaves room for desert or an appetizer). The music coming from next door was good (jazz) and the breeze helped.
If you plan on dining here, I have two recommendations. First, get a table inside; you'll be more comfortable. Second, bring extra cash. The restaurant isn't overly expensive but there are some menu items which will tempt you to splurge.
